[ day one ]

i made it through my first day as an undergrad. i had to pay close attention to the teachers, so that i could understand what they were saying (coz my swedish isn't the best). i was hell nervous. but i guess being in a new environment where you don't speak the same language (or rather, refuse to) and only understand 65% of what the teachers are saying, and have to play 'fill-in-the-blanks' with the other 35%, does that to a person.

after upprop we had about an hour of what's what, after which we were led to some grassy area by the faddrar (student union big brother type thing). they gave out t-shirts that according to them we have to wear at ALL times for the next 2 weeks, even when we go to the movies or whatever. it has the course name on the back so we have to be proud of it, and the front says nolle-p, which means i'm freshman in the zero (loser) period. oh and we're not allowed to wash them ever, they're SUPPOSED to get dirty.

aaaanyway, and then it was the orientation 'getting to know each other' games. i was blur la at first, but when i realised the games had started, i excused myself. i think i was the only one who left. oh well, i'm not a big fan of getting to know people anyway.

so... day 1 down. only another 3 years to go. wish me luck.
