[ my new bed frame ]
johan and i went to ikea yesterday and bought the bed frame we've (i've?) had our eyes on for the past coupla months... finally!
we (he) set it up late into last night, and once it was done i hit my right knee, then my left, then stubbed my toe on the edge - all within the span of 10 minutes. hopefully i'll get used to it being there soon enough. but in the meantime i guess i'll just have to take them as they come. i love my bed so much, i just don't care. bring on the bruises bitch! (ours looks nicer than this pic stolen off ikea's website, but you get the picture.)

dishwasher ✔
bookshelf ✔
bed frame ✔
next stop... an L-shaped sofa!
oh my goodness how i've changed. it wasn't too long ago i'd have a checklist of the clubs i'd gone to or the different types of alcohol i'd tried. now i'm a.... home person. now i'm..... OLD. sigh.
