[ my stupid exam ]
oh my gosh i'm such an ass.
one of the questions said to talk about the issue of same sex marriages in sweden, and how it compares to your home country. (about 1 page).
i started going on about how it's not allowed in singapore, civil or by the church, because of bla bla bla morals that we were brought up on. and then i continued with "it's not allowed in sweden either but because sweden is more liberal, i'm sure in time gay civil marriages will be accepted in the community and probably eventually in the Church of Sweden as well."
nicely i went and wrote 2 pages all.
of course i didn't know what the bladdy hell i was talking about. GAY CIVIL UNIONS HAVE BEEN APPROVED SINCE 2005 MATE! And in dec 2007, the Church of Sweden gave the green light for same-sex couples to wed in the church.
tsk. how i know sweden was like that. civil union nevermind know, but how can gays get married in the church man. have y'all read the bible recently not. heard about adam and eve? not adam and evan. heard about the city of Sodom? "They (The men of Sodom) called to Lot, and said to him, “Where are the men who came in to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may have sex with them.”" Remember how God punished the Sodomites a few verses after that?
church of sweden protestants, who used to kill Catholics in the past because our beliefs were 'superstitious and false'. be that as it may, BUT HALLO. how is it better that christmas is all about santa, good friday all about long weekend and easter about the easter bunny and eggs? a bit funny right they all.
argh. i'm just pissed la about my paper. and of course i don't agree a single bit with the church of sweden religion, but this is more about the paper. FAAAAIL.
