[ my 25th ]
my birthday's on the 30th, but i'm going to celebrate it tonight.
i'm having a few friends over for drinks and maybe cards (see: RING OF FIRE haha josh), then we'll probably go out after. well technically they're johan's friends because i'm a loser who doesn't have any of my own so i guess they'll have to do.
in singapore i usually celebrate my birthday every other night, the week prior to the actual day. i have one with my family, usually at Chevy's. one with my tp friends, usually at my place. one with fellow ex st.hildans, usually at DblO. and one with my "clubbing friends" (people i have never seen in the light of day), usually... no i mean definitely, at O Bar. (My name is Jill, and I'm a recovering party animal) haha.
So my turning a quarter of a century old, i think, will be a big change for me. this is where i become a woman. no more binge drinking like it's Oktoberfest, start cooking, cleaning, SEWING CURTAINS FOR OUR BEDROOM MY GOODNESS but that's a story for another day. haha. so for those of you who'd like to domesticate your woman like you would a pet, you could learn a thing or two from johan. lol...
even though i won't be partying everyday this week because i don't have different groups of friends to celebrate with (hell i don't even have ONE group), i hope i'll enjoy myself anyway.
it definitely won't be the same, because i'm not with my family :( , but at least i'll have johan with me. come to think of it, this will be my first birthday spent with him! hopefully that'll take the sting out of not having my family here. ok i'm gonna get emotional if i don't stop! heh.
yay i'm celebrating my 25th on the 25th!! i'm corny but cool.
well i'll try take photos tonight... you know, if it's not too ASIAN TOURIST-y. (i'm still in the fitting-in stage, don't judge me!) hahaha.
