[ my two schools ]
i applied for the swedish course in Linköpings Universitet, and as i mentioned before, i only made it as far as reserve.
after that i applied for two other schools, and the one that replied said the class was full but they'd put me on reserve anyway in case a spot opened.
anyway blah blah blah, i got in!
i'm going to study Swedish at Folk Universitet!
i'm going to jump to the.. umm.. 3rd class. like there are different levels of swedish - A1, A2, A2+, B, then C... A1 being the easiest la. so i'm going straight into A2+. and i start tomorrow. FUN!!
i also got in to this
International Course in Drama Communication at Linköpings Universitet (same school as johan, yay! we can be schoolmates!!). it started 3 weeks ago, but they said i could jump in. so i'm supposed to go in next week. i'm still quite sceptical (skeptical??) about it as i don't really know what to expect, and whether it's gonna be my kinda thing or not. here's a general overview of the course.
it gives the students basic knowledge of, and proficiency in, drama and communication. Theories of drama education and communication will be studied and applied in practical exercises; also studied are the functions and dynamics of individuals and groups, non-verbal behaviour, status, attitudes, values and leadership. We will also use improvisation as a technique. The course is intended for persons interested in different fields of education, communication, leadership or culture.
scary, i hope its not the "i'm a flower" kinda thing. i think i'm just gonna go for it la, give it a try.
i've also applied for this Cosmology course at Linköpings Universitet. its starts in october, and i'm really really hoping to get in, because i'd much rather study something that has to do with engineering, than the drama thing.
ok so... cross your fingers for me! will let you know how tomorrow goes.
